like most opinions mine is not worth much, as it is up to the individual to make his/her own decisions and take responsibility for them....I feel there is so many animals in desperate need of re homing i would love to rescue and animal more than going to a breeder but if i ever decided to go to a breeder i would have a strict outlook on who they were, how many dogs they breed a year, how responsible they were and why they were a breeder in the first place.
Yup. My latest two pets (my current cat and dog) are adopted from other owners who couldn't afford to keep them anymore. They never made it to the shelter, but they would have wound up there if mom and I hadn't taken them in so I still consider them 'shelter pets' in a sense that we just saved them the trauma of sitting for days, weeks or even months in a small cage in a shelter before we brought them home with us.
When I have in fact adopted from the shelter multiple times.
I never bought an animal , I always took them from the streets lol...
now I have to many but I always wanted to adopt
